Planting & advice

Tree planting & advice

The cheapest removal is the one you never need. We help you choose and plant the right species for the spot, so it does not outgrow the yard or undermine the slab a decade from now.

Tree planting & advice by Branchline Tree Care
Scope

What this job includes.

  • Species selection for the site, soil and space available
  • Advice on safe distances from homes, services and boundaries
  • Supply and planting of advanced and replacement trees
  • Establishment and early-formative pruning advice
Our system: We plant for the next twenty years, not just the next photo. The advice is honest even when it means a smaller tree than you had in mind.
How we quote it

Quoted line by line, before we start.

The assessment, the work, the clean-up and the stump, each priced on its own line, so the number does not move.

The 7-line quote
  1. 1 On-site assessment. Access, risk and proximity to structures checked in person, with whether council approval is needed confirmed up front.
  2. 2 Arborist report or permit, if required. Where the council needs paperwork, the report and the council fee are priced as their own lines, never hidden.
  3. 3 The removal or pruning. The felling, sectional dismantle or pruning itself, by AQF-qualified crews, with rope and rigging where access needs it.
  4. 4 Traffic and property protection. Traffic management, lawn and roof protection where the site calls for it, scoped before the day, not discovered on it.
  5. 5 Clean-up and green waste. Branches chipped, timber and debris removed, the site raked and left tidy.
  6. 6 Stump grinding (optional). Ground below grade and the grindings cleared or backfilled, priced separately so you choose.
  7. 7 Public liability cover. Every job carried out under $20M public liability insurance, with the AQF level of the arborist on the quote.
If a quote doesn’t show these lines, you can’t compare it, and you don’t know what’s been cut.

Call and same-day callback

Tell us about the tree. We answer, and for genuine emergencies we respond around the clock.

2

On-site assessment and itemised quote

We assess access and risk, confirm whether council approval is needed, and quote the job line by line in writing.

3

Scheduled work by a qualified crew

AQF-qualified arborists do the work to the AS 4373 standard, with traffic management and property protection where needed.

4

Clean-up and handover

Green waste removed, the stump ground if you asked for it, and the site left clean.

Qualified and insured

The cover behind the price.

Public liability to $20M, with the arborist's AQF level and the full scope named in writing, all on request.

Tree work is unlicensed in NSW, so the credential that matters is the qualification and the insurance. Every job is done or supervised by an AQF Level 5 arborist, under public liability cover to $20M, with WorkCover for the crew.

The cover, the guarantee, and how to check each one.
Questions, answered

Tree planting & advice: common questions.

What should I plant near the house?
It depends on the species mature size and root habit, not just how it looks at the nursery. We steer you to trees that suit the distance to your home, slab and services.
Can you replace a tree you have removed?
Yes, and some council approvals require a replacement planting. We can supply and plant a suitable species and advise on caring for it while it establishes.
